What jobs that people do can robots do?

Robots can put cars together, deliver food, clean floors, and even help doctors during operations.

Robots help people with jobs that are hard or repeat again and again. In factories, they put car parts together because they can do the same move over and over without getting tired. Some robots sweep floors in homes, and others carry boxes in warehouses.

Some robots go to dangerous places. A robot can go into a burning building or deep into the sea instead of a person. That way, no one gets hurt. In space, robots also drive around on Mars and take photos.

Robots are used in hospitals too. Doctors get help from robot arms during operations because a robot's hand never shakes. But robots still cannot think — they only do the job they were taught to do.

🏭

Factory Robots

In factories, robot arms put together car and phone parts. These robots never get tired and can repeat the same move thousands of times.

🤖

Artificial Intelligence

Some robots have artificial intelligence inside them. This lets a robot recognise things it sees and make small decisions.

🚀

Space Robots

The robots that NASA sends drive around on the surface of Mars. They take photos and send them back to Earth.

🏥

Surgery Robots

In hospitals, doctors use robot arms to do operations. Because these robots' hands never shake, they can make very careful cuts.
