Ask anything.

Why shouldn't I be afraid to ask my teacher a question?

Asking questions is the fastest and most natural way to learn — there is nothing to be embarrassed about.

Teachers like it when students ask questions, because it shows they are listening carefully to the lesson. If you don't ask when you don't understand something, that gap stays in your mind, and the next lessons can get even harder.

No one understands everything the first time. Scientists, inventors, and even the most successful grown-ups kept asking questions while they were learning. Asking a question doesn't mean you're not smart — it actually shows you are curious and ready to learn.

You're usually not the only one in class who doesn't understand something. When you ask, your classmates who were wondering the same thing get the answer too. So your question helps both you and the whole class.
