Why do we have to go to school?

We go to school because we learn things there that help us for our whole life, like reading, writing, thinking, and making friends.

School is a place that helps us understand the world. There, we learn numbers, letters, animals, stars, and lots of other things. Teachers explain things to us in a clear and easy way. That way, we don't have to learn everything by trying it all ourselves.

At school, we don't just learn lessons — we also learn friendship. We practise sharing, waiting our turn, and working together. These skills help us a lot when we grow up too.

Also, in every country, going to school is a right for children, and sometimes a law too. Governments want every child to learn to read and write, and to get ready for the future. That is why going to school is both a right and a duty.
